Hire developers in Morocco More capacity in your own team.
Without months of recruiting.
Your roadmap is bigger than your team. YouBar provides senior developers from Morocco who join your engineering team: in your stand-ups, in your tools and within your working day.
Hiring developers: three ways to work together.
Not every capacity problem is the same. Sometimes you're missing one experienced backend engineer; sometimes you want to hand off a complete stream of work. So we work in three models, and you can switch between them during an engagement.
- Team augmentation: one or more engineers join your existing team and work in your process and backlog.
- Dedicated nearshore team: a stable team with its own lead that owns a product or part of your platform.
- Full project: you set the goal; we deliver scope, design, build and handover.
How hired developers fit into your process.
A nearshore team only works when it doesn't feel like a separate department. Our engineers work to your rhythm and in your systems, not in a parallel world you follow through status reports.
Morocco is only one to two hours behind the Netherlands, so there's no end-of-day handover. A question asked in the morning is answered the same day.
- They join your stand-ups, refinements and retros.
- They work in your Jira, GitLab or GitHub, with your branching strategy and definition of done.
- Their code goes through your code review, and they review too.
- English is the working language: tickets, documentation and code.
- No account manager in between. You talk directly to the engineer writing the code.
You choose the seniority per role.
Many companies that rent out developers charge one blended rate and fill the team themselves. We quote per role. For each position you see which level you get and what it costs.
If your roadmap is mostly architecture and hard integrations, choose seniors. If there's a lot of well-defined build work, a mix of senior, medior and junior can stretch the budget further. We advise honestly; you decide.

Pick a profile and see how the balance between senior, medior and junior shifts. This is how we lay out a quote per role.

Not a body shop. A team that stays.
We keep YouBar deliberately small so the founder stays involved in every engagement. We hire engineers ourselves, carefully and personally, and they stay employed by YouBar. We don't pass on freelancers, and we don't scale up only to disappear.
Our engineers come from technical institutions such as ENSIAS, INPT and EMI. They work with proven technology: Vue and Nuxt with TypeScript, Laravel and Node.js, PostgreSQL and MySQL, Docker and GitLab CI. That makes them quick to onboard into most modern web stacks.
How this works at Fletcher Hotels.
Fletcher Hotels runs more than a hundred hotels across the Netherlands and is expanding into Germany and Belgium. Since 2024, YouBar has worked alongside Fletcher's internal development team, setting the technical direction across infrastructure, backend and frontend.
The platform runs live across the chain, and Fletcher Partner Hotels opened two new markets. The collaboration continues, with YouBar leading technically as the team has grown. That's what team augmentation is for: making your own team stronger, not replacing it.
Scale up or down without friction.
Capacity changes with your roadmap. Notice periods and handover are agreed up front. If the team needs to shrink, we document the current state and hand over knowledge properly, so your own team can carry on.

Do your developers work in our own tools?
+×
Yes. They work in your Jira, GitLab or GitHub, follow your working agreements and go through your code review. We set up access together, with only the permissions they need.
How is this different from hiring freelancers?
+×
A freelancer is one individual. With us you hire engineers employed by YouBar, with a team behind them and a founder who stays involved in the engagement.
Do we talk to the developers directly?
+×
Yes. There's no account manager in between. You talk directly to the engineer writing the code, and the founder stays involved in the engagement.
Can we start with one developer?
+×
Yes. You choose the team composition per role, even if that's a single role to begin with. You can expand once the collaboration is working.
Who manages the developers we hire?
+×
With team augmentation, you direct the work through your own backlog and process. With a dedicated team or a full project, YouBar also provides the technical lead.
What if we need to scale down?
+×
Notice periods are agreed up front. When scaling down, we document the current state and hand over knowledge, so nothing is lost.
